This was so helpful for us when we were on our honeymoon. We had an initial meeting in person to go through everything and meet the cats. They stuck to the schedule while we were away and gave regular updates.

Jane and Shaun were very trusty as I have never used a cat sitting service before but they did a great job and my little cat Bluey was safe and sound and happy on my return! The process was very smooth sailing and very efficient! Thank you both and from Bluey!!

Not yet used this service but booking with them to look after our guinea pigs when we finalise our trip away. I contacted Jane and she was very helpful and kindly let me and my partner look around the place where our guine pigs will be eventually staying. Her partner Shaun showed us around and both him and Jane had a lovely chat with us and gave us so much information and put our minds at ease. They make you feel so comfortable and you can see how much animals mean to them and how caring they are. I will 100% be using them for our guinea pigs!! We will be booking as soon as we can!!

Incredibly good prices and our Hamster Honey-Blossom loved her stay and came back a very happy hammie.

I am very particular with who my animals go to as they are my absolute world. When I met Jane and Shaun I could tell straight off the bat that they really cared for animals. I would definitely trust leaving my boys with them any day! Very professional lovely people and I would definitely use their services again! Thank you lots !

Was away for 5 nights and needed a walker to help out the family member staying with our 2 dogs. Pet Assist have been very flexible working round our home routine, Shaun got on with our dogs well and was very patient (even when one got a bit snappy at him), no problems and came back to some well-cared for pups. Will happily use again next time we go away 😁

Bird boarding –

Pet Assist Animal Care, helped in an emergency when we couldn’t find a suitable foster carer for a rescued Amazon Parrot named Jasper. They were very helpful and went out of their way to help Jasper with a temporary place to stay. North Yorkshire Parrot Rescue

At home visits for two kittens, Oct ’23

We had a trip planned and were very apprehensive about leaving our kittens, with them being so young we thought it better not to put them in a cattery and make them stressed.

That’s when we found out about Shaun and Jane, they were lovely to deal with and were very professional and accommodating. Shaun was great with the kittens and made sure to let us know when one of the little ones had been poorly.

Overall a great experience, will definitely use them again.

Rabbit boarding – Bubble and Squeak

We were let down by our usual carers for our bunnies at the last moment thank goodness for Jane and shaun will not hesitate to call on your services again 2 very happy bunnies

Cat care home visits – Saffy & Tedd –

Jane took care of my two cats for a couple of days at short notice , one of which needed medication twice a day , I felt confident leaving them in her capable hands and would definitely contact Jane again in the future

Guinea Pig boarding – Woody & Winter –

Our two guineapigs Woody and Winter came back from their stay very happy and content. Nothing was too much trouble and it was great to get a text halfway through the week saying they are ok. It is great to have a choice of either an indoor or outdoor cage and ours stayed outside in a new lovely big cage with a large run. It is clear to see how much you love the pets that stay with you and we would definitely recommend you. Thanks again.

Rabbit boarding July 2019

Luckily came across Pet Assist Animal Care when looking for somewhere for our rabbit to stay whilst we were on holiday. Jane and Shaun were very welcoming, helpful and provide a fantatic service. You can tell they genuinely care for animals, which was very reassuring. Charley had her own safe, secure hutch with plenty of room to move around. The photos and updates whilst we were away were great, and Charley came back very happy and chilled following her stay. Couldn’t reccomend this service highly enough!
