Our hutches outside are built to Rabbit Welfare Association recommendations, with adequate weather protection, with a built in exercise yard which is sectioned off to other rabbits. They can see each other through mesh so it gives them opportunity to socialise if they want to. The outdoor area is dig proof and fox proof so they stay safe. Our outdoor hutches and yard have also been used by Guinea pigs, ducks, hens, birds of prey. The house and garden areas are completely safe, enclosed and secure. Whilst staying at Pet Assist Boarding your pets will have the best care and have regular handling and exercise throughout their stay.
If your going away on holiday, or are here on holiday we at Pet Assist Animal Care are here to help. Boarding is at our premises for your small furry or feathered friends. We always offer your pets a lot of love (Please note we cannot board cats or dogs).
Rabbits must be vaccinated with Myxomatosis and VHD at least 14 days before boarding commences and a certificate will be required in advance for proof of vaccination. It is now advisable your rabbits are vaccinated with both VHD1 and VHD2 vaccine which is now in the area and so vaccines are now available from any local Vets.
We are fully insured through an alternative comprehensive insurance company (copies of our policy can be seen as requested).

As you can see from the price list, we offer value for money and our prices are very competitive. Also, discounts may be available depending on the number of pets and the duration booke
Indoors we can board small furry animals such as mice, gerbils, chinchillas, rats, and hamsters. These would have to come in their own cages.
We also can care for bearded dragons and tortoise who would need to come in their own vivariums or tortoise table.
Your rabbits, guinea pigs etc can come in their own cages if they are normally kept indoors, or they can use one of our indoor cages.
We board a vast array of birds, parrots etc at our secure home premises.
The boarding areas inside are heated.
Birdcages and vivariums are not provided, so you will have to provide these along with their bedding and food and any replacement bulbs or heaters as required.
We do have our own dogs and cats, but your birds/ animals will not be left alone with our cats or dogs, or be unaccompanied during their stay. Nervous pets/birds will be kept in a quiet area away from cats and dogs.
